Registration and Payments

Where do I mail Registration forms?

Incorrect or incomplete forms will result in the return of forms and payment. Corrected forms may be resubmitted. No program spaces will be held. Spaces are filled on a first paid, first served basis. Unfortunately, errors cause time delays and may result in your exclusion from a particular program. The waiver must be signed.

Where do I obtain a Registration Form?

Registration form is available online and can be downloaded from this site on the Programs & Events tab. Form is also located in the newsletter. Forms may be photocopied. Additional forms are available at the Parks & Recreation office located at Shove Park.

What payment methods are accepted?

Checks, money orders or cash are accepted. There will be a $20 fee for any returned check.
Credit cards can also be processed at the Parks and Recreation office.
Registrations and fees will not be accepted at any program locations.

Can I register for a program after it has started?

You may register for some programs after a program has started.  However, you will need to pay program fee…we do not pro-rate.

Can Non-Camillus Residents register for a program?

Yes, for several of our programs (not all), however, Residents are registered first with any vacancies filled from the waiting list composed of non-residents.  Non –residents will be charged an additional fee for participating.

What are the Program Cancellation and Refund policies?

Please be sure that you can attend all classes before registering.
Refund requests must come directly to the Parks & Recreation office prior to program start date and will be charged a $5.00 cancellation fee.  No refunds will be offered after this date unless:
The Parks & Recreation Dept. cancels the program.
A waiting list exists for a program and someone off of the waiting list can fill the person’s spot that has vacated.
The request is accompanied by a doctor’s written excuse (this will be pro-rated at the discretion of the department).

No refunds will be given once a program begins.  Refunds may take up to six weeks to process.
The Town of Camillus does not assume the responsibility for printing errors

Lifeguards
The Parks and Recreation Department has swimming activities nearly year round.  Swim programs are operated at Gillie Lake and the West Genesee High School pool.  If you are a certified lifeguard seeking part-time employment, please stop by and complete an application at Shove Park.  Applications are accepted year round.

 

Summer Park Laborers
The Parks Department is responsible for maintaining 850+ acres of parkland.  In order to accomplish this large task, the Parks Department relies on summer seasonal hires to mow grass, line ball fields and accomplish other park labor related tasks.  Applications will be accepted until March 1st.

 

Summer Camp Staff
The Recreation Department operates a Summer Camp program where children are provided a variety of activities in a safe and fun environment.  The Recreation Department looks for mature, responsible and dedicated people to assure the quality of this program.  Applications will be accepted until March 1st of the Start of the new year.
